NSS Arts and Science College, Parakkulam is run by the Nair Service Society (NSS). NSS is an organization created for the upliftment and welfare of the Nair community. The NSS headquarters is at Perunnai, Changanacherry in Kottayam District, Kerala State, India. It was established under the leadership of Sri. Mannathu Padmanabhan on 31 October 1914.
