The Bhoomithra Sena club, which functions under the Department of Botany, is aimed at encouraging college students to appreciate the environment and to react positively to environmental issues. The club will organize Seminars, Debates, Lectures, talks on environmental issues and visits to Wildlife Park, environmentally degrading areas etc. Other activities include cleaning and maintaining the polluted or environmentally degraded sites, planting and maintaining trees in the campus.
